Former U.S. Naval Station Ingleside Former U.S. Naval Station Ingleside was designated for closure under the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Act and closed April 30, 2010. Ownership of the base reverted to the Port of Corpus Christi Authority (POCCA).

Former U.S. Naval Station Ingleside encompasses 483 acres with more than 70 state-of-the-art buildings, including 23 dorm room buildings that house 685 rooms, fitness and recreation facilities, a capital-class, 1,100-foot pier and 1300-foot wharf area, a 72,000 square foot ship repair facility, an 80,000 square foot warehouse, a 60,000 square foot state-of-the-art office building, a cafeteria that seats 200, and a 200-seat auditorium located in a 15,000 square foot classroom building.

Ingleside, Texas Located just 18 miles north of Corpus Christi, Ingleside is the fastest growing community in San Patricio County.
